instead of displaying the level, it just has a little tag saying 'get Adobe flash player.' I've already been using Adobe to play this game for years. WTF is going on? I'm not going to get the latest greatest version or anything. I want to use the one I've always used...

I've had to update mine frequently over the years. It's irritating, but it's free and only takes a couple of minutes. It's easy, but look out for the updater preselecting additional programs to install (usually Google Chrome, and Google Toolbar in my experience). I just de-select whatever crap they try to add and carry on with the simple update.
