Puthyrith goes into the medical laboratory when his mother does late shifts (dad left them before he was born unfortunately.) He loves the otherworldly quality the lab has at night (he's 5.) Despite his youth, he's determined to become a chemist just like his mum when he grows up. I wonder if some of that glassware is going to come to grief when he 'helps' his mum by 'recalibrating' that centrifuge?
