That is just amazing! You're reaching something like Patt'Attalo used to do I think...

Thanks! I could never be close to his natural ability, but I appreciate the kind words. I miss his levels. And don't worry about Dream Theater. Petrucci said they went with Mike Mangini because "his playing was way less intimidating than Gerry's". I mean, you only need to look at the level to see that your polyrhythms are insane lol.

They said I was too bottom-heavy. I told 'em Steve Gadd borrowed my crash cymbal but all they said was "next!"

Haha nice, and when they called for the next drummer, it was... STEVE GADD! And he walked in and totally blew everybody away with JUST that crash cymbal. He was doin' flamadiddles and paradiddles and squeezadiddles and whackadiddles and by the end of it, they BEGGED him to take the job. But he just said "nah, I'm just lettin' my lil' bro Gerry know I got his back".
