Thanks man. As usual, there are a few different ways. The original intended way is pretty easy.

I've gotten close and then stuffed it up many times to be honest. Don't think I'm thinking along your lines...

One method is for the player to just stop the thing in a good position before proceeding with anything else. It can easily be restarted with the bouncy star up top.
