it is possible to take 2. and 3. after first drawing and also possible second drawing to get 4.

Yes! Drawing #1 can get orbs 2 and 3, and drawing #2 can get orb 4. I didn't know until you suggested it. Excellent method, Engin. It just requires that the shapes be drawn a certain way (as you already know).

I mean, it's definitely a cool design, hands down awesome. But solving it is laborious (even to me. At least, using my method it is.)

Thanks man. You got a good score, so we can call it mission accomplished. However, I already had a contingency plan with an easier one still, so I'll get that one up just to see what folks will do with it.

what I want to do (and have tried but doesn't work so far,) is draw an S hooking around one of the crank points, then another hooking around that, and another and so on for about 6/7 of them, then drop a massive weight in the massively bottom-heavy final S, then watch the entire thing solve itself in like 4 seconds. But no luck so far :-(

Aw yeah that would be cool. I think, as evil as the first Cranky is, it'd probably be more likely to work on that one because of not having a stopper. But this is GM-- I learned not to say something is impossible a long time ago!
