I hear ya. When I was making it, I was thinking that people would be thinking 'why the f$%& would I use that thing when I can just pop it up'. My only defense is that using the pop-n-slide squeezer allows for a few more points and hypothetically allows for a slightly bigger spritz of dopamine when you get it to work. It's not too hard after you get the gist of it.
Run out to The Mermaid in Te Aro, over on Courtenay, and ask for "Candi with an i". Tell her you'd like a private room and that you'd like to see "the toolbox". She'll take you back and provide you with some, eh, leathery "safety apparel". Put that on, face the direction she tells you to face, and try to ignore the sounds of industrial machinery being fired up behind you. Next—this is important—when she says "brace yourself", she's not just being cute. It really will be in your best interest to clutch the iron hand-holds with all you've got..........What happens next will be a life changing experience. Yes, the legendary pop-n-slide squeezer.
